André Leite is a Christian music artist from Brazil. He was born on November 25, 1977, in the city of Belo Horizonte, located in the southeastern state of Minas Gerais. From a young age, André showed a great interest in music, and he started playing the guitar at the age of 10. As a teenager, he became involved in his local church’s music ministry, where he honed his skills as a worship leader and songwriter.
In 1999, André moved to the United States to attend Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas, where he studied music and ministry. While at the institute, he was able to work with renowned worship leaders such as Ron Kenoly, Darlene Zschech, and Paul Wilbur. André graduated from the institute in 2001 and returned to Brazil to continue his music ministry.
Since then, André has released several albums, including “Inexplicável Amor” (Inexplicable Love), “Amor em Movimento” (Love in Motion), and “Jesus, meu Primeiro Amor” (Jesus, My First Love). His music has gained a large following in Brazil and beyond, and he has been invited to lead worship at conferences and events in countries such as the United States, Canada, and Australia.
In addition to his music ministry, André is also involved in missions work and serves as a pastor at his local church in Belo Horizonte. He is married to Fernanda Leite, and they have two children together.
