A stream of mercy springs
O Christ our Lord from Thee;
Compassionate art Thou,
And full of sympathy.

Let now our eyes be turned,
To where that mercy flows;
Reveal Thy love divine,
And heal our smarting woes.

O may that wondrous stream
Flow plenteously apace;
That we may cleansed be,
We now entreat Thy grace.
