Joe Mettle – His Biography and Songs

Joseph Oscar Nii Armah Mettle is a Kenyan, born and raised in Ghana to Florence Addo and Emmanuel Mettle. He was born on 5 July, 1971 and is the eldest of six children.

Joe started his education at the Richard Akwei Memorial School and later moved to Kade 1&2 Primary School (Kade) where he spent about a year before returning to Accra, to the St. Michael’s and All Angels. He continued to Korle Gonno 3 Junior High School (JHS) and obtained his Senior High School Certificate from Accra Academy. He studied draftsmanship at the Modern School of Draftsmanship (MODESCO) before Going to Accra Academy. He then did his college at the Pentecost University College, Sowutuom in Accra. Joe is a marketer.


Joe Mettle’s Singing life

He is a singer, songwriter, preacher. Joe started as a backing vocalist for Ghanaian Gospel artists like Cindy Thompson, the late Danny Nettey, and Reverend Tom Bright Davies. He was the lead singer for Soul Winners, a multicultural music group. He founded his ministry, Joe Mettle Ministries, in 2007.

Joe is Reverb Studios manager, a recording studio in Accra. Reverb Studios rent musical equipment, and provide music and marketing consultancy services.
