Stanza 1
I am Jesus little lamb
And He calls me by my name
He’s my shepherd and will feed me
By the quite waters He led me
He will love and care for me
Help me grow up happily.
Stanza 2
With his staff and gentle rod,
He will keep me close to God.
He will guard me and protect me.
And in darkest time not me,
To a perfect hiding place,
Where he’ll keep me by his grace.
Stanza 3
Jesus gives me peace and joy,
That no trouble can destroy.
Then, when his brief life is ending,
Angels from his side descending,
Will prepare a place of rest,
Where I’ll be forever blessed.
