Christianophobia is growing. Christians were told. And we’ve conquered all. Hallelujah!

Christianophobia is a blessing

Yes, Christians are declared intolerant haters by the world. And…

A British report has concluded that 80 percent of all persecuted religions in the world are Christians. The study, commissioned by British Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt on Boxing Day 2018, aimed to assess the level of global persecution of Christians in order to review current government policies.

Persecution of Christians reaches genocide levels

But no worries, we’re blessed when persecuted. Prejudice against Christians is a blessing. We’re the strongest, more than conquerors, and indestructible. Our strength is the Lord Jesus Christ; “as he is, so are we in this world” (1 John 4:17, KJV).

Responding to the rise of Christianophobia

George Yancey, a professor of sociology with academic interest in anti-Christian attitudes in the United States focused on issues of Christianophobia in his book “Hostile Environment: Understanding and Responding to Anti-Christian Bias”. You may have to read this great work by George.

Christians have the wisdom and understanding to triumph in Christianophobia

Christ is God’s wisdom (1 Corinthians 1:24), and ours too (1 Corinthians 1:30).

Just that the babies in Christ need to grow in the Word. 1 Peter 2:2 says, “As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby”.

Yes, we’ll always face persecution whether we like it or not. The Lord Jesus told us. But the approach in our ministry as ministers of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18) in Christ also count; the immature in Christ condemn some people and preach judgement instead of the Gospel, which is God power to save man (Romans 1:16). It’s only God’s love that saves. And that’s the good news. Read Why Christians are Regarded as Intolerant “Haters” for more.

Most babies in Christ don’t know when to escape when unbelievers are about to kill them. They end up killed for Christ when their time to leave this world isn’t due; our Lord Jesus knew when to escape. He escaped several times till He accomplished His mission. We need you guys alive till the right time for you to exit, please. The right time can also be the time the baby in Christ is killed.

Know God’s Word

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6) is the issue here. The misinformation is too much in churches. And most Christians are lazy; they don’t open the bible to discover things for themselves. Hmm, God help us.

Jesus said to His disciples, “Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God” (Matthew 22:29, KJV). So, study God’s Word. Life is spiritual. The food for your soul is the Word. You can’t make it without Jesus. He’s the Word (John 1). 2 Timothy 2:15, KJV puts it this way: “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth”

Also, don’t forget that…

Pray always and give thanks in all things

“16 Rejoice evermore. 17 Pray without ceasing. 18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, KJV).

Matthew 5:12, KJV

“12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.”

Luke 6:22-36, KJV

“22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake.

23 Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.

24 But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation.

25 Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep.

26 Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.

27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,

28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.

29 And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloak forbid not to take thy coat also.

30 Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.

31 And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.

32 For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.

33 And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.

34 And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.

35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.”

John 15:18–19, KJV

“18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. 19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.”

Romans 8:29, KJV

“29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.”

Romans 12:1–2, KJV

“1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Romans 12:12. KJV

“12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;”

2 Corinthians 4:4, KJV

“4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”

Philippians 4:6-7, KJV

“6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

1 Peter 1:6-9, KJV

“6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:

7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.”

1 John 4:4, KJV

“4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”
