Antiphon G (From the Office of Dawn)
When came the call to me,
“To God’s own house repair,”
Then I was filled with joy,
And sent to heaven my prayer.
Within the house of God
Are fearful wonders wrought;–
There a devouring flame
Burns every shameful thought.
Thou Spirit, Source of life,
To Thee all praise we give–
To Father and to Son,
In Whom all creatures live.
