Alexander Pappas

Alexander Pappas is a Christian music artist and worship leader originally from Adelaide, Australia. He was born on October 15, 1984, and grew up in a musical family, with his father playing the guitar and his mother singing in a choir.

Pappas began his music career as a teenager, performing in various bands and ensembles. In 2004, he became the lead singer of the Australian Christian rock band, Eleventh He Reaches London. The band released two albums before disbanding in 2010.

After the breakup of Eleventh He Reaches London, Pappas moved to Sydney and became a worship leader at Hillsong Church. He quickly rose to prominence within the church, leading worship at Hillsong conferences and events around the world. In 2013, he was featured on Hillsong United’s album “Zion” and performed on the hit song “Oceans (Where Feet May Fail).”

In 2014, Pappas released his first solo album, titled “A Thousand Years.” The album featured original worship songs written by Pappas and received critical acclaim. Pappas continued to tour and lead worship at Hillsong Church, as well as at conferences and events around the world.

In 2019, Pappas released his second solo album, “The Worship Initiative,” in collaboration with Shane & Shane. The album featured covers of popular worship songs, as well as original compositions.

Throughout his career, Pappas has been known for his powerful voice, passionate worship leading, and heartfelt songwriting. He has been a major influence in the Christian music industry and continues to inspire others through his music and ministry.
