Akpororo

Akpororo, whose real name is Jephthah Bowoto, is a Nigerian comedian, actor, and gospel musician. He was born on October 3, 1989, in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria.

Akpororo grew up in a Christian home and attended Okpara Primary School and College of Education Demonstration Secondary School, both in Warri. After completing his secondary education, he moved to Lagos to pursue a career in entertainment.

In 2008, Akpororo began his career in entertainment as a stand-up comedian. He performed in various comedy clubs and events across Nigeria, gaining recognition for his unique brand of comedy, which often includes singing and dancing.

In 2014, Akpororo released his debut single, “It’s Okay,” which became an instant hit. He followed up with other successful singles, such as “Days of Elijah” and “I Serve a Very Big God.” In 2016, he released his debut album, “Uririn Mma,” which featured collaborations with other Nigerian gospel musicians.

Aside from his music career, Akpororo has also acted in several Nollywood movies, including “Head Gone” and “The Antique.” He has won numerous awards for his contributions to the entertainment industry, including the Best Gospel Comedian at the Nigerian Gospel Music Awards.

Akpororo is married to Josephine Ijeoma Abraham and they have three children together. He is known for his strong Christian faith and often incorporates his beliefs into his comedy and music.
