Aghogho

Aghogho Oboh is a Nigerian-born Christian music artist who was born in 1985, in Delta State, Nigeria. She is the third child in a family of five children. Aghogho started singing in the choir at a young age and discovered her love for music at an early age. She attended Delta State University, where she studied Business Administration.

She grew up in a Christian family and was exposed to music at a young age through her mother who was a choir director. Aghogho began her music career at the age of 8 when she joined her church choir. She later became a worship leader in her church and began to write her own songs.

Aghogho began her music career in 2012 with her debut single “All the Praise,” which received widespread acceptance and set the tone for her music ministry. She released her first album, “Beautiful,” in 2014, which was also well-received by fans and critics alike. Aghogho has since gone on to release several other albums, including “You Are” (2016), “Father” (2018), and “The Blood” (2020). She has collaborated with several other Christian music artists including Onos, Nikki Laoye, and Atonye Douglas.

Aghogho’s music is characterized by its upbeat and energetic rhythms, catchy hooks, and powerful messages of faith and hope. Her music is heavily influenced by her Christian faith and her experiences in life, and she often draws on her personal experiences to craft her lyrics.

Aghogho has performed at several notable events and concerts both in Nigeria and internationally. She has also received numerous awards and nominations for her music, including the African Gospel Music & Media Awards (AGMMA) for “Discovery Artist of the Year” in 2019, and the 2020 Maranatha Global Worship Music Awards for the Best Contemporary/Urban Gospel Single.

Aghogho is married and has two children. She is also a worship leader and serves in her local church in Lagos, Nigeria. She continues to inspire and encourage others through her music and ministry.
