The Christian is a word practitioner. He is the doer of the Word. In the Old Testament they were taught to obey the words. We, Chrisyians, are not told to obey the Word in the New Testament. We are taught to do it.
There is a big difference between obeying the Word and doing it. Obeying the Word means doing according to the commandments. Doing the Word in the New Testament is not obtained of commanding. You are not a person that obeys the commandments. It means acting out what it says. Paul says, “Ye are the epistles of Christ.” Do you know what that means? It means you are living letters.
Who is Jesus? He is the Word, the Living Word.
In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God, the Word was God. The word became flesh and dwelt among us. So Jesus Christ is the Living Word.
Now, the Bible says being born again not of corruptible seed but of the incorruptible by the Word of God. If we were born again by the Word what are we? Dogs give birth to dogs. You see, you are the Word come alive. You are the expression of His life. The Word of God is at work in you.
