Words are spiritual. God used them to create.
Jesus said in John 6:63, “The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.”
James 3:2-14 also warns us to be careful with how we use our tongue. It is possible to destroy your life with what you say today.
And the devil’s number one weapon is his words, too.
What did the devil use to deceive Eve in Genesis 3:4? What did he use to tempt our Lord Jesus Christ in the wilderness in Matthew 4:1-11?
He used his words.
He uses words to deceive people. That’s his nature. He’s a liar. The Bible says it this way in John 8:44: “When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.”
And in the realm of the spirit, demons speak against you every blessed day. The arrows of the devil we, Christians, have been referring to are not those in the physical realm.
Look, witches and wizards pronounce curses on Christians every time. They do that, especially, in their gatherings.
Want to destroy the devil’s weapon?
Do exactly what Jesus Christ did when He was tempted in the wilderness. Eve didn’t know this.
The Lord knew who He is. Eve never knew who she was. You can deduce that from the conversation she had with the devil. She would have done what Christ did, too.
The key to overcoming the devil’s weapon is in Matthew 4:4.
Live on every word that comes from the mouth of God. What is God’s Word concerning that matter? Use it when it’s needed – speak it out loud when you’re tempted. Jesus did that, too.
And use the prosperity grammar to counter all curses against you, even if you don’t know you’re cursed.
