3 Reasons Why You Should Never Ask God To Use You

Christians Colabourers with God. Use me God is a wrong prayer.

A Christian should never ask God to use him or her; don’t hypocritically pray or say, “use me, God” because He made you a minister of reconciliation and His colabourer. He empowered and sent you. What else do you want Him to do with you? You may be a hypocrite.

Let’s dive a little deeper into the 3 reasons why you should never ask God to use you:

1. God made you a minister of reconciliation

Christians are Ministers of Reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18 KJV). They’re made by God to reconcile men to Himself – exactly what the Lord Jesus Christ came to do. You’re the Way. Man can only enter Christ through you.

2. He made you His colabourer

You’re a labourer together with God: you’re God’s husbandry, you’re His building (1 Corinthians 3:9). And your desire for Him to use you proves that it’s He labouring in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure (Philippians 2:13).

3. He empowered and sent you

You’re empowered (Ephesians 1:3) and sent by God (John 20:21) to preach (Mark 16:15) and teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, “baptizing men in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost” (Matthew 28:19 KJV), heal the sick, raise the dead, work miracles, and do wonders. All in Jesus’ name. He has made you able to do all good things (Ephesians 1:3). You’re a blessing to bless others. You’re righteousness, a miracle, sign, and a wonder.

What else do you want the Lord to do with you, huh?

See:

You’re waiting for God to use you. He can’t give you what He has – already – given to you. And His gifts and calling are without repentance (Romans 11:29 KJV), too.

This is what you need to do now

Agree with what God says about you; confess your office and function.

Next, know when, where, and how to apply the Word.

Then, go to all nations doing good (working) in the name of Jesus. As you go preaching and teaching every where, the Lord will work with you. He’ll confirm the Word with signs following you (Mark 16:20). Remember, His Holy Spirit is your helper (John 14:26).

God is stirring you to do good (Philippians 2:13). So, don’t hypocritically pray or say, “use me, God”.

Are you a baby Christian?

Study to show yourself approved unto God (2 Timothy 2:15) if you are; “For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. But solid food belongs to those who are of full age” (Hebrews 5:13-14, KJV).

You err most of the time because you do not know the Scriptures (Matthew 22:29). So, study to be soaked in the Word.
