How to Live a Perfect Christian Life

To live the perfect Christian life, first know and understand who you are. If Eve knew who she was, she would not have listened to the snake; she had no idea that she was like God (Genesis 3:4-5). But our Lord Jesus Christ knew who He is when He was tempted by that same snake, the devil, in the wilderness (Matthew 4:1). Having knowledge of who you are is powerful. Look at how Jesus used the Sword of the Spirit to destroy Satan’s temptation.

The truth is you are in the Lord Jesus Christ; not only is Christ a Person, He is also a place. That is what the Apostle Paul alludes to in 2 Corinthians 5:17. And He is seated at God’s right hand (Romans 8:34) exercising dominion over heaven and earth (Ephesians 1:20-21). Meaning, you are in God’s Kingdom now. And remember that God, in the beginning, gave you dominion over the earth and everything in it, but you chose to give it all to Satan. Thank God for restoration through the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Now, you are free to take what is made available to you in God’s Kingdom. Receive the promises of God. Boldly take your right and use what belongs to you; it is just a matter of knowing what belongs to us and acting on it. Here, you ought to know and use God’s angels to your advantage (Hebrews 1:13-14).

Note that Christians have no battle to fight again; Christ fought the battle (1 John 4:42; 2 Chronicles 20:15; Genesis 12:3; 2 Thessalonians 1:6, 3:3; Jeremiah 1:8; Joshua 23:10; Psalms 34:19; Luke 10:19;). So Satan is a defeated foe (Hebrews 2:14-15). We are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37). And we can, at any time, easily cast out devils in Jesus’ Name. Worship God for who He is. Look, the fact is, God is not surrendered with intercessors or angels that war like Christians in the church that intercede for others and claim to be prayer warriors. He is surrounded with worshipers. The angels do not move God. What move Him are those that say, “Holy, Holy, Holy.” There are things in life that can be cast out of your life only by worship. God is looking for worship, not prayer. Always remember to praise God for what He has done for you as a Christian. And thank Him in all circumstances.

Meditate on the Word of God to prosper in all areas of your life (Joshua 1:8).

Walk in the light by constantly being in fellowship with God and with the brethren (1 John 1:5-10). You will be able to stay in constant fellowship with God and man if the love of God is shed abroad in your heart (Romans 5:5); you are not of God if you do not love your brother (1 John 4:20). Do not talk about or judge other men (Matthew 7:1-5). Respect all men. Intercede for every man. Jesus is our advocate, interceding for Christians. So it is ideal for you to intercede for others because you are one with Him. Now, find the two greatest commandments in Matthew 22:36-40.

Find and receive more grace from God to help you in time of need (Hebrews 4:16). This is how to get grace for anything in life.
