You Can’t Succeed without God’s Grace

You are the seed of Abraham; like him, you are blessed in all areas of your life because God’s promises are fulfilled in Christ.

But things are still not going on well with you, right?

Well, you need grace, which is the key, to receive or take what belongs to you. A Christian, for example, cannot get sick because we were healed by the stripes of the Lord Jesus Christ (Isaiah 53:5; 1 Peter 2:24). But why do some Christians get sick? They lack the grace to take their healing. Like kicking poverty out of your life, getting healed has nothing to do with prayers. You may remain poor or bed ridden after years of praying.

Another example is a Christian cannot sin. Look closely at the concept of sin. And you will understand that you are free because Christians were called to be free in Christ. And we are not to use our freedom as an excuse to do unprofitable things (Galatians 5:13; 1 Peter 2:16). Point is how can you sin when there is no law? The grace to live the righteous conscious life is the key here.

Now, the bible in Ephesians 1:3 tells us God has given us all spiritual blessings in heavenly places. Meaning, we do not lack anything in this life. The multi billionaire you want to be is possible. The healing you need is possible, even for anyone. They are things you are allowed to claim. But how do you do the claiming?

How to claim what belongs to you in Christ has been the issue for most Christians. Being able to receive or take what is yours proves that you are a son of God. You will be able to help your house pet if you are a son of God (Romans 8:19).

God has made it such that you have to use a key given to the chosen to enter into the realm where you cannot sin. That realm is Christianity. If you understand the concept of sin, you will notice that a Christian cannot sin. Now, the key given to the chosen is to only believe in the Lord Jesus Christ to enable them enter the realm where they cannot sin.

Here, you may be wondering: “I’m a Christian. I got saved by grace. And the Word of God says, ‘I’m full of grace just as Christ is.’ So what other grace do I need to succeed again?”

The basic understanding of what God’s grace is will do for you. We know the general definition is God’s unmerited favor. But what needs to be clear here are the contextual definitions of it. So you can selectively, under the umbrella of God’s unmerited favor, define it. The word grace in Hebrew is “Chesed” which is guidance, preservation, enablement, benevolence, and forgiveness. It is also the deliverance from affliction, the enemy, or any other thing which is not of Christ. And the Greek word for grace is “Charis,” which means kindness, and life. Did you notice the “enablement,” and “life” from both the Hebrew and Greek words? That is exactly what this post is about; to enable you get whatsoever you need in life. That is to deliver you from lack. You already have life in Christ, the rest is for you to get the specific grace for that thing you need – it could be growth in your ministry.

See, life is all about the grace of God. You cannot succeed without God’s grace. Both Christians and the world are living because of the riches of His kindness and tolerance and patience (Romans 2:4), which is God’s grace. Fortunately for us, Christians, we have been made aware that we can always approach the throne of God’s grace to find more grace when it is most needed (Hebrews 4:16). Meaning, there is more grace for every need in God. Another way to grab more grace is to receive when it is distributed by men of God (Philippians 1:2-21; 1 Corinthians 1:3).

There is this article about how to get grace for anything in life. It was written based on 2 Peter 1:2-4. Read it to learn how Grace is multiplied through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus Christ. Shalom!
