The truth is you cannot be successful at anything in life without Grace.
Yes, Jesus was full of grace and truth when He became flesh and made his dwelling among us (John 1:14). And you became one with Him when you believed that God raised Him from the dead and confessed with your mouth that He is Lord (Romans 10:9). So you are full of grace, too.

But to succeed in life, you need to know how things work. You will not fully enjoy the unmerited favor you have in Christ if you do not know how to take or receive God’s blessings made available for you. God said in Hosea 4:6 that His people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Christ in Matthew 22:29 also said, “Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.” Meaning, how to grab what belongs to you should be your focus after salvation, else you may leave this earth for heaven not accomplishing whatever you have been assigned to do.
2 Peter 1:2 reveals to us how one can get grace for anything; that verse says grace can be multiplied in your life through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord. The bible in Joshua 1:8 also elucidates how to prosper and have good success in life saying: “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” So study the Word of God, meditation on it, and you would not suffer and struggle in life.
1 Corinthians 3:10 make us understand how God’s grace work; our heavenly Father has given man the grace to fulfill whatever responsibility He has entrusted to him. Yes, God influences man’s spirit causing him to be free, and to flourish in any area of his life. You are gifted (Romans 12:6) to succeed, and to fulfill the will of God in whatever He has called you to do in life. Yours is to yield to the working (Power) of God in you.

Man has the general grace of God (since Adam) to excel in life. By that same Grace, the Father sent His only begotten son to come and die for the world (John 3:16). Notice that verse says Christ died for the world, not Christians or man. The world includes animals, trees, the waters, and any other thing God gave man the power to dominate (Genesis 1:26). That is why Romans 8:19 says, “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.” Meaning, all creation, including your pet at home, was suffering under Satan’s dominion.
God’s grace for mankind began before He created man; He said in Genesis 1:26, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness” when He had already condemned Lucifer for desiring to be like Him (Isaiah 14:14-15). His grace continued in the Garden of Eden; Adam, at the time, may not have notice how gracious our creator was to him. The LORD graciously killed an animal, and used its skin to cover his nakedness (Genesis 3:21). God pacified Himself for Adam and Eve with the blood of that animal. It was the first sign ever to show man that for by grace he will be saved, through faith, and that not of his works but God (Ephesians 2:8).
Now, you know how to get grace for anything. So which area do you need to flourish? Or where are you lacking? You need more grace to excel there; what is God’s Word concerning that thing you need? It is a choice. Hallelujah!
